Proud and honored to announce that, I have been reawarded (12th time) as Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) in the Microsoft Azure Category #MVPBuzz #Azure #Microsoft

As Yesterday was the renewal day 1^st of July and waiting for THE email and waiting and the MVP website was slow and down all the MVP’s are checking the status. As I did not see any email till 18:00 thought well I need to go and do some stuff Lets see this tomorrow.

and there it is at 18:10 the email with the proof. Got my 12th MVP Award.

I Would thank the Community as I could not do this without you, this get me the inspiration on the blog Items and during the events with the AMA sessions.

For me, being awarded as a Microsoft MVP is a great honor. This award is a marvelous acknowledgment for all my activities.

I started as a MVP for “Clustering” in 2009 which then a small team of 4 MVP’s It was a very exiting time to be part of that group among great personalities! Today, I’m doing mostly projects around Microsoft Azure and Windows Modern Workplace, so I’m really proud and happy that my community contributions ended up in a renewal for Azure.

Renewed as Microsoft MVP for 2019-2020 Switching to Azure #MVPBuzz #MVPAward #Azure #MicrosoftMVP #WIMVP #windowsinsider

I am proud to announce that I was awarded by Microsoft, with the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Award for 2019-2020 in the category Microsoft Azure. I also hold a MVP Award in Windows Insider #WIMVP. This is my 11th Microsoft MVP award since 2009, and I couldn’t be more excited about this one.

I migrated my Self too the Cloud, took my 11 years to get from On premise to the Azure Cloud. But still looking forward to see the new Azure previews and write blogs,workshops,etc.

The first Award was in 2009 as Cluster MVP, this was a small group and since then the group merged to Cloud and Datacenter.

It is a true honor to get awarded for the 10th time as an Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP).

I received an e-mail from Microsoft and I am happy, honored and proud to share that I have been re-awarded as Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) 2019

The Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) program is, according to Microsoft, given to “technology experts who passionately share their knowledge with the community”. It is a distinction that Microsoft awards to non-Microsoft employees who help other members of the development communities, either by answering (correctly!) to questions in forums, writing blog posts, presenting at events, making sample code available, among others. The award is granted on a yearly basis and it is possible to receive it multiple times. It is a way for Microsoft to show their appreciation to those who care and spend their time helping others. Above all and in addition to their amazing technical abilities, MVPs are always willing to help others – that’s what sets them apart.

I was first awarded MVP in 2009, back then I was in a category called High Availability which got merged into Cloud and Datacenter Management. I those days Tech-Ed was the Ignite from now and Symon Perriman was Program Manager – Server Clustering & High Availability. I was very busy with SQL Cluster and File Cluster. As Building MOM (Microsoft Operations Manager) packs to monitor all kinds of applications. I was involved in In a lot off beta testing, so I may have gotten Microsoft’s attention.

MVPs don’t receive any payment whatsoever from Microsoft. We don’t have to follow their instructions or are in any way told what to do, but we do have a code of conduct and are bound to certain rules, like, do not disclose confidential information that we are given by Microsoft.

One of the benefits of being a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) is the chance to attend the Global Summit. The MVP Global Summit is where all the MVPs in the world get together in Bellevue and Redmond, WA. In recent years, it was usually held in November, but this year got moved close to Spring (March 4-7).

To Keep my MVP Award I’m doing Ask the Experts / Ask me anything on the Cloud Roadshows / Techdays or other events where possible. Answer Community Questions where I can. Be a Windows Insider get you the Early bit of the software and is a great place to meet other community members. As the Microsoft Tech Community has his own platform with great options to connect to other members. There are also a lot of Yammer groups, As Azure Advisory and Azure previews. This makes it also hard to BLOG, not that there is no content or time (well a bit) there are great items but as the most is covered with the NDA. It is waiting on the release moments of the products so that I can release the blogs, often I write blogs from the first versions and in the final release the screens or options are different. But it is a great way to help shape the product and interact with the product teams and do interviews or join product group sessions.

Next to my job as EMEA Cloud Solution Architect with Insight.com This roll ask also a lot of my time and I don’t know how long I can keep up doing both. But for now I’m real happy to be re-awarded as Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) 2019

I got renewed 1 April for another year as an MVP. Yes, I’m one of the April Fools’ Day MVPs. (And this year, Microsoft let me sweat for several hours before letting me know that I had been renewed.) I’m Proud to receive my 7th Award, This year there are a lot of new Product and this will be the baseline for the mvpNext Award as It opens up doors and creates opportunities. And as an Consultant I can’t be only working with Clusters but also a lot with the surrounded Products. System Center,Azure Pack and Azure hybrid. Things are getting more complicate that the old on premise racks Connectivity is key.

While there are more than 100 million social and technical community members, only a small portion are selected to be recognized as MVPs. Each year, around 4,000 MVPs are honored. They are nominated by Microsoft, other community individuals, or in some cases themselves. Candidates are rigorously evaluated for their technical expertise, community leadership, and voluntary community contributions for the previous year. They come from more than 90 countries, speak over 40 different languages, and are awarded in more than 90 Microsoft technologies. Together, they answer more than 10 million questions a year!

MVP summit 2012

It was a great week, seen a lot of new things and done some testing in the microsoft LAB.

And yes there is a lot off windows Server 8. so much new stuff that it will take time to blog al of this and some of it is still NDA so it have to wait till the time is there to blog about it.

The interaction with the product teams is great and it is nice to see the early things in windows 8

This week I’ll will create some new Items on windows 8 and See where the limits are form this beta, the feel and touch is way different. In all parts it is great to see new stuff in windows 8.The best part is in the consumer build that there is now hyper-v 3.0 support, So I don’t have to run Windows enterprise 2008R2 as desktop any more Winking smile

1. Microsoft MVPs. This technical community constituency will already be in Seattle for the annual Microsoft MVP Summit from February 28 to March 2, 2011. Microsoft predicts 1,500 MVPs from around the world will attend and 200 MVPs will attend MVPnation. Product groups we anticipate participating include Server MVP Pie Chart Solutions (e.g., Windows Small Business Server, Windows Server), Client Operating Systems (e.g., Windows 7), Communication and Collaboration (e.g., Microsoft Exchange), Business Management (e.g., Dynamics CRM), Business Productivity (e.g., Office), Virtualization, Data Center Management, and many more groups. The MVPs will be the speakers at this event.

2. Community members. Customers, channel partners, consultants, and members of the public will be in attendance to learn from the MVPs. View it this way. A mid-level IT administrator at a Fortune 1,000 corporation (say Weyerhaeuser or Boeing) would attend to meet his favorite Windows Server MVP!!!! A Microsoft Partner who is a consultant would attend to learn from her favorite Exchange Server MVP! A member of the public will be thrilled to attend a panel discussion hosted by Microsoft Office MVPs. Hopefully you get the point – this is an amazing opportunity for the public to meet the infamous MVPs!
3. Community sponsors. I’ve been amazed at the enthusiasm and excitement already displayed by the technology ISV, and vendor community to embrace and extend their budding relationship with the MVPs. It’s like the old Texas saw, “Strangers are just friends who you haven’t met yet,” and such is the case herein.
